Chris, I'm sorry you won't be joining us. I imagine that was not an easy decision. Any chance that a rented wheelchair is an option? I'm confident you'd find many willing "WC pushers" who would be delighted to do it (me whenever I can as well as all these Her2 sistas who care about ya) to all the places you want to go ...just a thought in case it's a viable option for you. Hope that leg heals ASAP and all insurance woes are behind you. How was your vacation?

Regarding transportation, I wasn't clear. I meant to ask if anyone has compared prices on shuttle services for getting from the SA airport to your motel. My motel is in easy walking distance to the conference.

I wish I had allowed some time before the conference to poke around SA. My flight is not switchable. Some of my friends from Project Lead are going early to sightsee ahead of time which would have been fun.

Is it cold there this time of year? We're still wearing shorts in FL but are having a refreshing cooler (for here) front so sweaters are in use. I'll have to check Weather.com to determine how warm a jacket to bring. Is there a place to leave those so they don't have to be lugged around all day?
