Re: Breast lymphoedema

Hello Julie,

A friend of mine used a bra for lyphoedema, not sure the name, and she said it helped. I have found if I swim everyday it heps more than anything else; manual drainage, therapy etc. Swimming along with the compression garments works best for me. I know it's hard to get to a pool everyday but you will notice a difference. I go before my family get up in the morning.

My friend has since had a masectomy with a small implant and now mainly deals with the hand and some back lyphoedema.

My surgeon went on and on about how they like to conserve the breast but it's the lymph nodes that have given me the most grief.

Heres to it getting better - I know it's a pain!
