She can ask the doctor for a change in anti nausea medicine.
Ginger (fresh or dried and candied) helps keep nausea under control. Put some ginger in hot water and drink it like tea. Try some good quality ginger ale with real ginger in it. Adding ginger to cooked hot cereals is good too.
Eating more frequent smaller meals with less fat may help too.
