Not only has Dr. Guardino gone from Stanford to Genentech but

she is the second female oncologist from Stanford to have left for Genentech. The first, whose specialty was not breast cancer, was a breast cancer survivor herself.

Let's see if these two women can influences the corporate behavior there--it is now a subdivision of a big Swiss drug company, rather than the stand alone company started by two researchers.
