Re: Could use a little encouragement .....

Maybe this is a Mary Jo disease. I went back to weight watchers in August for the 4th time and lost 30 pounds with 10 to go. Even adjusted my goal weight 5 pounds higher to make it easier on me. Then, on December 21 I went crazy again. I've probably gained back at least 5 pounds. I want sugar. I have Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD), so I wonder if that has anything to do with it. Also started taking a low dose of Crestor, a statin. (What an awful experience that was. The headache was really bad. Thought I had a brain tumor.) So I started on the sugary food for comfort. I can't offer suggestions, because I can't walk the walk. However I can offer sympathy as a fellow sufferer!!!! We both know that keeping our weight in the normal range is a protective factor against cancer. Just keep trying, my fellow Mary Jo. Keep trying. Prayers to the creator are good, with lots of gratitude expressed. but I tend to b--ch and complain to the creator too! After all, s/he didn't have to create me with a sweet tooth.
