Matthew,

If you google ACTH (adriamycin, cytoxin, taxol, herceptin) vs TCH (taxol, carboplatin, herceptin) you will find a good bit of information. The long term studies are not in yet, but the stats thus far look fairly equal. FEC is similar to ACTH with the Epirubicin being a less cardiotoxic version of Adriamycin and the Cytoxin is the same. I do not know much about 5FU as it is not used for breast cancer much here in the States. I do know that it is not advisable for the Eprirubicin to be administered in conjunction with the Herceptin, sequentially is the way to go with Herceptin being given upon the completion of the Eprirubicin.

Herceptin every 3 weeks. Finished 7/09
Tamoxifen 10/08. Switched to Femara 8/09
Bilat SPM w/reconstruction 10/08
Clinical Trial w/Clondronate 12/08
Stopped Clondronate--too hard on my gizzard!
Switched back to Tamoxifen due to tendon pain from Femara

15 Years NED
