Living Downstream

I don’t know if any of you have heard of Sandra Steingraber. A friend of mine just sent me some info about her. She’s an ecologist who is also a bladder cancer survivor. She is the author of Living Downstream (now being released in its second edition) on the environmental links to cancer. The book was huge. She’s huge. She’s been interviewed by Bill Moyers. She was Ms. Magazine’s Woman of the Year. She gets compared to Rachel Carson, who wrote Silent Spring and started the environmental movement. She believes we should become "carcinogen abolitionists."

I really enjoy her writing and viewing the trailer for her documentary and thought some of you may as well.
