Hey, Terri, that is the same trial that I am trying to enter. I know we might spend 5 years taking a sugar pill (not sure we'd go past the first year), but all the testing is included for participating. It seems to be from reading the material which came with the consent form that it is an attempt to have a program similiar to that that E+ people can do with 5 years of followup drugs.
It would be terrific if it worked for us E-, P- folks.
anyway, I do hope to get in the trial. But I so understand Ruth wanting to be done.
I'm older and am so focused on getting 10 more years to rear this outrageous granddaughter of mine!

Her2 by FISH 7.7 amplified
vascular invasion
Ki67 20% borderline
Jan - March '06 Taxotere/Adriamycin X 3 to try to shrink tumor - it grew
April '06 Rt Modified Radical Mas, 7 of 9 nodes positive
April - Aug. '06 Herceptin/Taxol/Carboplatin X 8 (dose dense)
Sept - Dec. '06 Navelbine/Herceptin x 8 (dose dense)
Radiation & Herceptin Jan. 22 - March 1, 2007
Finished Herceptin Dec. 10 '08! One extra year.
Port removed August, 2012.
8 1/2 years since diagnosis! 5 1/2 Years NED!
