Supported by cancer stem cell hypothesis/research. And it falls in line with studies that show bisphosphonates can help prevent recurrence, potentiate chemo and sometimes eradicate mets by themselves. I've never specifically read it but the studies of Zoledronic acid 24 hrs after Dox seem to suggest the bisphosphonates pick up the circulating Dox and channel it to the marrow. Well..that's just the way I "interpret" it.
