Re: paclitaxel derivative that crosses blood-brain-barrier being developed
Hmmm. No mention of efficacy?
"a 19-amino acid peptide (angiopep-2) was developed that binds to low density lipoprotein receptor-related protein (LRP) receptors at the BBB and has the potential to deliver drugs to brain by receptor-mediated transport."
Assuming this does have efficacy, I wonder if this process could be utilized to deliver other agents, like vitamin H and all the others.
