Just wanted to share w/you some info my Onc told me about the Tykerb "rash"...
First & foremost, remember toxicity is not indicative of efficacy, so you can't correlate how well the drug is working based on how the SE's present for each person.
And she said that in her experience, the Tykerb "rash"
aka acne is typically fairly mild in BC pts. She said that the pics she's seen of mild/moderate/severe "rashes" are likely patients on other Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitors, like Tarceva, with diagnoses other than BC.
I hope this eases your mind a bit & I hope you're continuing to tolerate the new combo well
