Darita, hope gives us strength. What if you were one of the ones who did not have the bad side effects with the Tykerb/Zeloda? What if it zapped those pesky critters and got you NED. Hope is so powerful. I know the side effects can be awful. I cried for 6 straight weeks on Taxotere & Adriamycin. My mouth hurt so bad I lived minute to minute.....BUT I had hope! I'd cry a while and then get really mad and determine to fight on and on. It was hope that kept me going even when the side effects cried out for me to stop.
Take a deep breath and be open to knowing what you might do. I'll be prayin' for ya girl! ma

Her2 by FISH 7.7 amplified

Ki67 20% borderline
Jan - March '06 Taxotere/Adriamycin X 3 to try to shrink tumor - it grew
April '06 Rt Modified Radical Mas, 7 of 9 nodes positive
April - Aug. '06 Herceptin/Taxol/Carboplatin X 8 (dose dense)
Sept - Dec. '06 Navelbine/Herceptin x 8 (dose dense)
Radiation & Herceptin Jan. 22 - March 1, 2007
Finished Herceptin Dec. 10 '08! One extra year.
Port removed August, 2012.
8 1/2 years since diagnosis! 5 1/2 Years NED!
