I don't know if "it" is worth it, but you surely are. I'll bet you will get lots of suggestions from all those who have had one type of procedure or other or not!! I had mastectomy on one side and am an Amoena Girl myself. But I'm an "ancient one" as my kids call the older and wiser! So, I've continued to ponder it and have not done anything yet. April '06 Rt Modified Radical Mas, 7 of 9 nodes positive
April - Aug. '06 Herceptin/Taxol/Carboplatin X 8 (dose dense)
Sept - Dec. '06 Navelbine/Herceptin x 8 (dose dense)
Radiation & Herceptin Jan. 22 - March 1, 2007
Finished Herceptin Dec. 10 '08! One extra year.
Port removed August, 2012.
8 1/2 years since diagnosis! 5 1/2 Years NED!
