OH WISE ONES... what would I do without y'all???
When all seems lost (computer wise), my SIL tells me to -- REBOOT. Shut it down and restart it. Whatever was ailing the poor thing seems to vanish.
That works for us too. Like the Sabbath (an island in time) we can rejuvenate ourselves with a little rest. And prayer always help, of course.
So, Harriecanariebird, your positive Energy, tidying up, and having given yourSelf (and the puter) a reprieve seems to have to created a new reality! There's nothing weird about that.
Plus, maybe the puter heard, or sensed, your thoughts of doing away with it, and it wanted to prove to you that it wasn't dead yet. It's *Essence* was still alive.
Yes, Pink, I must remember that machines needn't be my undoing. I still have power to find a way we can get along. Midst utter exasperation that is most difficult to recall at the moment, but I will try to think of your wise words and assuage the issue. I can do this. I have faced breast cancer, as you and I always remind one another. That always serves to make me stronger.
Thanks, my Sisters. As for you Wild Bill, and your wild imaginings, you are entertaining to say the least. It is always good to laugh. Highly therapeutic. So I thank you too for your contribution(s)...
