Menopausal differences

Bonnie,

Minimally higher liver test results are more common even in the general population of women after menopause, with more women experiencing different processing by the liver with the rapid aging of treatment.

The "normal range" covers adult women who haven't had that traumatic change. Even repeated tests minimally above the "norm" would be reflecting that. Anxiety with new tests is normal too, but a lot of energy goes into it and unless your tests continue to rise (or if you are actually quite young with those results), I'd listen to the nurse for now. Hope that helps. Please let us know how it goes for you.
