UCSF oncologist
Hi Tonya,
Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. My oncologist at UCSF is Dr. Hope Rugo. She is extremely smart, and very up to date on everything, particularly HER2 positive cancer. She understands the underlying biology, so she also is able (I think) to make educated guesses, where needed. Additionally, she is in charge of the clinical breast cancer trials at UCSF. She would be an excellent person to see for a second opinion, if you can get in to see her. Please let me know if you have any further questions.
