Smile Thanks

Thank you. My students made my day today. They figured out my age and thought that I looked twenty years younger. Of course, they are third graders. When I picked them up from their recorder class, they were all lined up on stage and sang "Happy Birthday."

Unfortunately, I had to leave school early to have my six week Muga test, meet with my oncologist, and have treatment. My Muga score was 60, which matches my new age. I was pleased because it is usually around 55. My CT and bone scan from last week were also fine. Most of my friends are upset about turning 60. For me it is a milestone. I was first diagnosed ten years ago in May.

Best wishes,
Barbara H.
