I recall some of the ladies on this site had DIEP procedure without problems. Do you know or can you point me to a site that indicates the risk factors associated with the DIEP method of reconstruction? My breast cancer surgeon felt that getting all the delicate blood supply connected was complex and a major risk/concern.
