Hi Caya,
I would not take any wine with sleeping meds. I am certain it states that on the medication bottle. I do believe that taking tamoxafin is okay as I do have wine now and then and I am taking an AI. I must say that while on any antidepressant they say NOT to have any alcohol. I would check with my dr. regarding the drug effexor.

A glass of wine with a meal once a week is my limit. The french as you know have wine with their meals every day. I have a close friend who
is french and they are raised on it, as many other European countries.
