This is very good news. The FDA has been getting utterly slammed (with good reason) in the WSJ editorial page for months. Maybe someone finally woke up.
They still have a long way to go to keep up with the new thinking in terms of classifying cancer (and therapies) by biologic characteristics instead of by body part. Nontheless, this is really encouraging.
