In my little collection of books on fats I have a copy. It is technical, but you can get the gist without understanding all the detail, it is expensive, but it is an excellent book that sort of looks at how Omega three can be applied in a treatment setting.

The implications are so exciting it should be in every hospital surgery department in my inexpert opinion.

If you would like to give your hospital a thought provoking and useful book this is the one.

The book looks at the effects of omega three from a clinical perspective. There is a 3 page section on cancer patients.

The conclusion of the book headed outlook says "Supplementation with Omega-3 FA improves survival and accelerates recovery. These substantial effects are shown in different diseases to a variable extent." The list includes trauma, complications in post operative patients. reduced infections. and better outcomes in conditions such as sepsis and peritonitis.
