Hopefully, you've called a doctor by now and your pain is resolved. I've had both gallbladder and appendix and was in severe pain with both. I didn't have nausea with gallbladder but did with appendix. Both can come on slowly over time, or very quickly, although I believe when the pain comes that quickly it's more likely appendix. My appendix started about 8:00 in the evening and by ten the next day I was on the operating table. Gallbladder took months of intermittent pain before it got that bad. Don't walk, run to the doctor.
