Oh, how I love my doc! (Dr. Gaynor wrote a book, HEALING ESSENCE, that changed my life, literally! He had me on the first page.) I KNEW I was going survive from his words. Can't explain it... It can be/or at least used to be obtainable by calling his office --
212) 410 - 3820 in Manhattan. I cannot recommend this mind-bending book enough! Inspiring is a gross understatement.

Among the greatest of the supplements I take from this healer oncologist, nutritional expert and wonderful, brilliant man ( all listed in TO "SUPPLEMENT" OR WAIT on this board, last 6/30) -- are the ones that have taken my stomach pain away. I had spasms daily. Grumbling, rumbling, diarrhea, then my belly got hard and knotted. This is what helped me:

ASIDOPHILUS (Lactobacilius Asidopholus) 15-35 gezillion or whatever -- Probiotic, friendly bacteria TWICE A DAY, EVERY DAY. Actually 30 billion viable cells per capsule, maintaining healthy microflora, promotes healthy bowel function. No more IBS!

I also take 1-3 FENNEL SEED (480 mg) throughout the day, as needed, to supplement this supplement! I seem to NEED it all to be *normal*.

I also meditate, use guided imagery, pray and actively participate in directing by body, with my mind -- all in accordance w/Dr. Gaynor's beliefs. I love this man! May you all be well (body, mind and Soul)!!!

Mastec/tram flap reconst/PORT/8 mnths chemo (4Adria/8CMF). Borderline ER/PR. Tamoxifen 2 yrs. Felt BLESSED. I could walk and talk, feed and bathe myself! I KNEW I would survive...
