Nicola,

I have a newly daignosed brain met and I am going to be treated with CyberKnife. My brain met is only 5mm so it is very small. You may want to do some research on CyberKnife, it's the newest technology but unfortunately is not available at all cancer centers. The good thing with CyberKnife you can contnue on your regular chemo while undergoing CyberKnife and cyberknife is accurate to within a mm. If you don't have many brain mets CyberKnife may be your ticket. I was under the impression that if you had WBR you could have it only once -- or maybe it does depend upon the dosage. I'm new to the brain thing as you can see.
