I also have what the doctor called a 'pulmonary pimple' that showed up on a PET scan when I had rib pain. Oncologist told me he sees no reason to follow it with regular scans. I know it's frightening, but don't forget those scans show up the tiniest imperfections in our body. THe PET scan also showed a small gall stone. I'm more worried about that than the pimple.
