Another hug to add to your collection
Sheila, I'm thinking of you, wondering how you got on yesterday, and hoping you're feeling at least relieved that the waiting part is over.
Someone once said to me, after one of the chemo cycles, "Just think, you'll never have to have that particular one ever again". It did make me feel that yes, I am strong and proud to have achieved that goal. It's all one step at a time, isn't it.
I can't remember from your signature if you had Taxol before, or if this is the first time. I had taxotere, and if you need any help with particular side effects please feel free to send me a private message - I'm happy to pass on what worked for me in managing them. Hope this doesn't sound too resigned or gloomy - lots of people do brilliantly on the taxol family of drugs, after all, and have very few or minimal problems on them.
Love to you
