I also believe what you said in your post:

When you are positive and happy you are bathing your system in endorphins and good chemicals - when you are sad and stressed you bathe your systems with cortisol and other destructive chemicals. So ultimately you become stronger and healthier and can handle what life gives you better if your mind body connection is working on the positive side."

I have also seen, however, some people go the other way with it and lay guilt trips on people because they could not "cure" their cancer. Like I said, there are a lot of "new age" wackos around and that can be counterproductive.

Who is the author of the book "biology of Belief" and is it available in bookstores on online somewhere?
