I've had some new rib pain on the right side for about 3 weeks thats bothered me. I tried to convince myself that due to the seroma I have on that side it has built up pressure and is causing the pain I feel? I had this mastectomy from last week scheduled, and now my ooph coming up so no time in-between to get scanned. (Thats if I could even get one my my so called doctors to order one for me.) So I have just been trying to relax and think positive that its not anything to worry about. I have a full plate now. But it sure didn't help hearing the news of Mrs. Edwards today.
I agree with Becky on this one Kelly...talk to your oncologist about this. Let him/her know that you just won't be comfortable till you get some kind of definite answer. He should understand. Alot of good advice here that I will take myself.  Wishing you all the best.

9-28-09 Loading dose of Herceptin & started Zometa
9-29-09 Power Port Placement
10-24-09 Mass 6.4 x 4.7 cm on Rt. femur head.
11-19-09 RT. Femur surgery - Rod placed
12-7-09 Navelbine added to Herceptin/Zometa.
3-23-10 Ten days of rads to RT femur. Completed.
4-05-10 Quit Navelbine--Herceptin/Zometa alone.
5-4-10 Appt. with Dr. Slamon to see what is next? Waiting on FISH results from femur biopsy.
Results to FISH was unsuccessful--this happens less then 2% of the time.
7-7-10 Recurrence to RT axilla again. Back to UCLA for options.
