Boswellia as mentioned above is not supposed to have any major side effects on its own. Minor gastrointestinal disturbances or rash can happen.

An other point to consider with the onc is the fact that Boswellia Serrata moderately inhibits the CYP3A4 enzyme that is necessary for the metabolism of some chemo drugs:

This means that concurrent use of Boswellia & one of these drugs may impair the efficacy of the chemo &/or increase its side effects.

P.S.
Regarding Boswellia pills, look for the maximum percentage of the pure ingredient. For instance the "MAXI-BOZ" 500mg pills supplied by the AOR company contain 65% (or 325mg) of the pure Boswellia.
