Rhonda: You had me worried there for a minute! I'm sorry your friend is going through such a hard time. I think you have the right story on Medicare but Medicaid rules vary from state to state. Some states allow disability medicaid with a spend down that will pick up medical expenses over a certain living allowance. Good luck. BERTA
