Yes I have seen it and the report of the cancer meeting currently
being held in Prague, Czech Repulbic. I posted under another thread my concerns. The drug in question (hopefully they will find others that decrease Tregs) is ONTAK which combines diptheria toxin and IL2 I believe.It has lots of potential side effects. It is also thought that Treg depletion may lead to various autoimmune diseases such as lupus, inflammatory bowel disease and rheumatoid arthritis.
It is an area which is not yet well understood.
The good new--I recently read an article which says that Herceptin decreases Tregs!
As with so many things, it may not be an all or none phenomenon and there may be multiple other factors involved.
No particular reason this approach should not be tried in breast cancer
