I had a bilateral mastectomy with reconstruction immediately following. I had very little discomfort during the filling process. My plastic surgeon was very cautious about filling too quickly. We were in no hurry. The exchange process went very smoothly and I had very little pain during those surgeries. I am very pleased with the outcome and would do it again in a minute.
