Suffocating with fear...that's a good way of putting it. I remember that feeling. I remember telling someone that I understood a bit how a soldier feels before his/her first battle. You're scared witless, but you're going to do it anyway. In my Wellness Community support group, there are 5 women with Her2 BC and three had mastectomies and reconstruction. We are all chugging along, although some of us are more tired than others depending stage of treatment. One lady is at dog shows almost every weekend -- she raises champion Jack Russels. I know you will get through this, but I also know it's no picnic, especially in the first months when you're adjusting. Someone mentioned cleaning services, take-out food, etc. I know you're a busy mom, but if these services are possible for you, do it. Pamper yourself as much as possible. Keep writing all your feelings here. That helped me a lot. All the best to you MJO
