The baby aspirin dose is 81mg...my dad's doctor told him to be sure and take the chewable aspirin as opposed to the enteric coated aspirin, as in her opinion the chewable aspirin was almost immediatly absorbed while the coated aspirin was, in her words, "pooped out" before being absorbed!
I've been on 81mg a day for several years for my port, and now I make sure it's the chewable.
