Hope,

My heart goes out to you. Don't ever let the doctors give up on you. You certainly aren't ready to give up. Demand that your doctor send you for PET/CT immediately. At least then he/she would know exactly what is going on. There are so many chemo cocktails they could be using until you can get into a Tykerb trial. Please do no give up. You have a lot of support from people on this site. If you are too weak to get around call the local chapter of the American Cancer Society -- they can arrange transportation for you. I'll keep you in my prayers.

March 2008 lung met progression, brain still clear - begin Tykerb/Xeloda/Ixempra
