I believe heavy pretreatment prior to T-DM1 may explain some of these different responses.

My tumor markers have stayed the same for eight years and I really would love to understand medically why they believe they work for some and not for others. They still run them every three months...

I would like to ask about your blood work results while on T-DM1. For those who have been on this for awhile, do the platelets get hit hard every time or just when you first start taking this drug?

I had my second infusion 3 days ago. It is amazing how different this one was from the first. Very few side effects so far--mild headache, joint pain and severe dry mouth. But I have been on high...
