This is a very difficult decision to make as many doctors are still divided on the benefit of local treatment for Stage IV. There's been research that tumour load reduction helps in overall survival....

Mine's also in the liver, just one spot that started off fairly large and has now shrunk to 1 cm for SBRT. Thanks for sharing so honestly and explicitly about your journey so that we can be better...

I'm not sure either, lol..my radiation onco simply recommended SBRT to me as it's not invasive, unlike RFA. I'll ask him next visit.

Any reason your onco suggested RFA? Coolbreeze and I are going for SBRT, which my radiation onco has recommended and is non-invasive. I'm told RFA is considered invasive.
