The cancer becomes resistant to the drug, so it stops working and the cancer grows...herceptin and femara stopped working for me, so now I am on herceptin, tykerb 1500mg and fulvestrant....tumor...

I took herceptin from sept 2011 to may 2012 ..then it stopped working..now, in addition to herceptin I am taking 6 pills of tykerb 1500 every day....diet helps manage the diarrhea...I eat activa...
