I've been off Arimidex now almost a year after...
I've been off Arimidex now almost a year after taking it for 2 1/2 years. (Tried the other AIs, too). The side effects of joint and bone pain were horrible and nothing really helped.

My ALT and AST have been abnormally high since chemo (3 1/2 years ago). They have never returned to normal and I've had every test there is. No evidence of anything. Try not to worry.
