Bad Scan
Well my run with Xeloda/Tykerb is over. The scan found a chest wall met by my breast bone. It will need to be biposied but they are pretty sure it is cancer. So very sad right now.

I have had great success with this combo. It has competely cleared up my recurrence which showed up as IBC on the chest wall.
I hope it works wonders for you too.

Speaking from my heart
I am speaking from my heart and since I have a scan on Friday, I am probably more dramatic than usual. But I am just having an issue with the whole, "they lost their battle to cancer" thing.

It is very stressful it is to see the cancer grow on your skin. Xeloda/Tykerb has knocked mine out.
I hope you are feeling better today.

Confused by Onc.
My onc wants me to start Xeloda again. I have no signs of the IBC rash, no symptoms, and my last scan was clear. Isn't it standard to drop the chemo and keep me on Tykerb? I will have a scan soon...
