I believe he is correct about only radiating on the spine once, because of potential damage to the spinal cord and surrounding nerves... but I don't know for sure.

I wouldn't (and your onc shouldn't or won't) make any determinations without scans... they will probably want you to complete at least 8-12 weeks of treatments first.
