Depression could be a big factor.
I'm guessing (don' know for sure) that her blood counts should all be normal by now. I will suggest to my girlfriend that her step-daughter take B12 and magnesium and possibly think about a thyroid...

I have a friend who has a step-daughter who went through chemo treatments for Her2/neu breast cancer. She was on Herceptin for a while but got taken off of it for it was hard on her...
