My onc mentioned this test too. I said I wouldn't do it. There is comfort in thinking that the Tamox is keeping me safe and I don't want to know otherwise. I would happily stay on it forever.

I took my first dose of Decadron as ordered, the second dose I was to take the AM of my first chemo. I didn't take it. I walked in to the onc office with it in my hand and said oh hell no am I taking...

I had terrible Rib pain for a while. Bone scan lit up, X-ray the same. It was small tho so I waited six months and repeated it. Healing fracture.

Every time I have asked med onc about PET scan he says my labs are good so why go looking for trouble? I respect the man but sometimes feel he has an old school "let ME worry...

My normal body temp after treatment hads consistently been 100. Every time I see any MD they say "do you know you have a temp"? Guessing it is what it is.

Lost my boobs. Will lose my uterus,cervix and fallopian tubes on Jan 5. Would really like to keep my eyes and the rest of me too. Stupid cancer.

Thanks Rhonda, I will read it. One of my biggest fears is blindness as I have a family history of macular degeneration. I thought my eye exams couldn't get more in depth until today.
