Yes, Believe is right, some pills should not be split. Your pharmacist will be able to tell you which ones are safe. Pill splitters are easily available and have a little area to catch the "crumbs"...

You can get quinine sulfate 200mg tablets from Canadian pharmacies (with a prescription) but they aren't super cheap, run about .70 per tablet. Perhaps that could be a Plan B or C.
