I have no input to your decision. You probably know all the pros and cons. All I can say is maybe try to quiet your mind so as not to block any signs from your prayers. I do not envy your decision...

I had chemo before bmx so my port was placed before surgery and reconstruction. My guess is reconstruction may wait for chemo due to decreased immune system thus increased chance of infection but...

No personal input on doxil but many wishes for some relief ftom the stress this all brings. I do know it was one of the options my onc talked about and I felt he was confident in it.

Republic of Tea makes a ginger turmeric green tea that sounds questionable in flavor but I like it a lot and comes in handy when I'm a little nauseaus too. Not cheap but I find it worth it for one...

Thank you Becky and Caroline. I see dr. tomoorow to discuss Treatment and at least receive gemzar. I have talked to insurance agent who has stood by us before against insurance and will appeal too....

My bc mets progressed in my liver and nodes apperared a little larger so we ablated the kidney again and have been trying to get approval for different chemo.

I have no experience with this except shortness of breath from kadcyla and then switched chemo. Can't give any advice but sending support. Do you meditate? It sounds like something calming may help....
