question for those with lung mets
 

Got 2 different treatments....
1. Taxol, Herceptin and pertuzumab weekly
2, Docetaxel, Herceptin and pertuzmab very 3 weeks

really confused...the weekly treatments will be 2 1/2 hours from home and use muga scans which I hate.
The other is local and echos.
which is best???

I don't think they're a whole lot different. Docetaxel and Taxol are both taxanes. Docetaxel was the one used when Perjeta/Herceptin & a taxane were approved. I'd do the one closer to home and every three weeks if I were you. The only thing that happens with the three week interval is the dose is increased. You've got to balance treatment with other life issues. And I've only ever had echocardiograms. They seem to do just fine.
