4 year anniversary and Ned!
 

Thank God! The bad news is my father is not doing well. He is under hospice care at home. He is still alert and not in to much pain so he says. We are just trying to enjoy the days. He is a very gentle man. Very old school and has had a pretty good life of 84 years. He doesn't feel the need to complain he has been so blessed. In his peace my sisters. (For those who don't know he was dx almost six years ago with stage four lung cancer, managed to put it in remission for four of those years now its in his bones and else where.) Stupid cancer.

Congrats on your anniversary Nancy. Sorry to hear your Father is not so good but it does sound like he has been blessed with a good life.

Sorry about your dad but your father must be relieved to know you're ok and now can peacefully end his life surrounded by his loving family.

No matter the age or a lifespan it is still your Dad, and I am sure you never want to let him go. Peace, love, and prayers for you and enjoy your time with your Dad.

I'm sure its a bittersweet day for you and I'm sorry about your Dad but wanted to send huge congrats to you on four years out!!!

I hope if its your Dad's time it will be a peaceful passing from this world to the next. xx

Ahhh . . . Pray - so happy for you that the 4 year mark has been reached.

It sounds to me like you are doubly blessed to have such an amazing father. I share your same opinion of cancer and wish that none of us had to deal with it.
