IRS finally approved my 501c(3) status
 

I just had to share a little good news that for me was so huge I burst into tears when I found out. After a year and a half of waiting, the IRS FINALLY granted my charity a 501c(3) status. My Chemo Bag is officially recognized as a public non-profit.
I'm so excited because now I can go after large donations to get bags to all those starting chemo. So far I have secured funds to get 350 completed bags out to patients in 5 infusion centers here in my area. I feel so blessed that my hard work and persistence paid off and that my tiny but mighty charity will now be able to help so many more patients.
