Vaccine #4 done

Echo results good, blood results good, therefore I received #4 vaccine at Mayo last week. Looks like I will be able to finish the trial. Swelling around the injection site for a few days...otherwise no side effects. So far so good. 2 more vaccines to go then, visits to Mayo every 3, then every 6 months for a total of 30 months.

Im so glad that you are tolerating the vaccines, and having such minimal side effects. And only two more to go...woo hoo! Prayers headed your way that the treatment remains easy and effective.

Jill,
Add my voice to the "NED FOREVER" chant!!

You rock! Thanks for blazing this trail!
I'm pretty sure my brain mets disqualify me from the vaccine trials... but maybe one day, because of brave women like you... vaccines will be standard of care!

Keep going strong!
Denise

Tricia, yes that is my dog Quincy, he is a 13.5 year old jack russell terrier (terrorist) This picture was taken about two weeks after my double mastectomy and prior to my chemo. I wanted my husband to take a good hair picture and of course, Quincy wanted in on the picture. I also have his littlermate/ brother Gordon....I have a song I sing to them..."two jack russells is too many!!!" But honestly I love my jacks...they are great dogs.
