Sad Heart
 

I am attending the funeral for one of my oncology nurses whos' husband passed from a 9 year battle with lung cancer. She has a 10 year old son and she is pregnant. She is one of the facilitators at our cancer support group, her husband would often attend along with their son. Life doesn't seem fair sometimes the hardship this family has had to endure, but then the gift of a new life awaits. My onocolgy center also lost one of their nurses last fall to brain tumor, a harsh reminder that no matter what walk of like you come from no one is immune to this disease. My prayer go out to Melony and her family as we celebrate her husbands life.

Couldn't agree more with all you've said...Cancer sucks, doesn't even scratch the surface of how I feel.
